Invite Friends

Collaboration makes the Party! app shine. Here’s how to get others involved:

1. Obtaining the Event Code

   • Once your event is created, the app generates a 6-character alphanumeric code (e.g., X7K9P2) and a QR code.

   • Both are displayed on the event details screen.

2. Sharing Options

   • Digital Sharing: Tap Share to send the code/QR via:

     • Text/Email: Copy-paste the code or attach the QR image.

     • Social Media: Post to Instagram Stories, Twitter, etc., with the QR code.

     • Messaging Apps: Use WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage for direct invites.

   • Physical Sharing: Tap Print QR to save the QR code as an image, then print it on invitations, posters, or table cards.

   • Tip: Include a brief instruction (e.g., “Download Party! Disposable Camera and scan this code!”).

3. Joining Process for Guests

   • Manual Entry: Friends open the app, tap Join Event, and enter the code.

   • QR Scan: They tap Scan QR, then use their camera or the app’s scanner to read the code.

   • The app confirms their join with a “Welcome to [Event Name]!” message.
